Biography

Charles Rachal, is a native of South Central Los Angeles where he attended Main St. Elementary, Carver Jr. High. Charles was best known as the life of the party. At home Charle's Great Grandmother & Grandfather raised him, along with his Grandparents, Mother and Father. Charles takes pride in saying he had the best up bringing a kid could ever want growing up in the inner city. Charles played the drums for a local drill team, triumph in jr high, but by the time Charles entered high school things begin to change. Charles was now called (Q Bone ) known Crip member in Los Angeles.

Charles led a life of violence for the next 30 years going to Juvenile Hall, Camp, California Youth Authority and Prison. In December 1995 Charles aka "Prison num# D-04604" had at what some call a "Vision". That "Vision", was that he had to make a decision in his life, to either spend the rest of his life in prison or freedom. Charles could not make that decision, so he got on his knees the night before his release, and prayed to God that if he has to come back in here let him stay now, and if he has a life out in the free world then let him never come back to the devil's den.

Charles was released from prison in 1989 to never return. In 1992 Charles was discharged from years of parole & prison. A blessing came at the mist of Los Angeles Civil Unrest 1992. Charles aka "Q Bone" along with 5,000 other Los Angeles Gang members, got together for a city wide Peace Treaty, amongst Los Angeles street gangs Bloods & Crips. Its from that moment Charles started his crusade to make change in the lives of the very ones he destroyed and mislead. Charles always had a passion for his community that's why for years he protected it all all costs.

Charles is nationally recognized for his participation and leadership for our youth and community affairs after the civil unrest and peace treaty with LA Gangs. He has been awarded numerous proclamations from various Elected Officials, Maxine Waters, Community Organizations like Brotherhood Crusade, Community Build, Concern Citizens South Central. Including a National Honor by President Bill Clinton, "5O Faces Of Hope ". Charles was also adopted by the great Coretta Scott King as her spiritual"Godson", from there it was all blessings for Charles, you would have to look at Charles mentor list to see where he has been, from The Million Man March, Judge Hatchet, Trinity Broadcast Network , and Camp- Gid- Up.

Charles is determined to make a change in the perception that's placed on the inner city youth & communities across the globe. Charles gives his up-most thanks to his spiritual sister "Bernice King" Daughter of Martin Luther King & Coretta Scott King for keeping him well grounded in their quest for Peace & Social change, in the words of the great Martin Luther King "Where Do We Go From Here"!!
